Kill Bill C5: Why the Building Canada Act must be repealed

Kill Bill C5: Why the Building Canada Act must be repealed

In the name of pushing through 'Projects of National Interest' (PONIs), Carney's 'Building Canada Act' - (Bill C-5) contains measures that violate Indigenous rights and sovereignty, as well as the civic rights and well-being of all people living in so-called Canada.

Join to hear how federal Bill C5 and its provincial copycat bills compromise the integrity of our lands and the health of our people in the interest of ramming through even more extractive fossil fuel infrastructure and dirty mining projects, aimed at feeding the military-industrial complex.

Learn how to support Indigenous Land Defenders in contesting and repealing such measures through coast-to-coast mobilizations and days of action in coming weeks and months.

Speakers will include: Katsi’tsakwas Ellen Gabriel, Donna Ashamok, Ojistoh Horn and Sabaa Khan.
